Welcome to our woolly world!
“Woolville Alpacas” is located at Mill Farm in a small village called Whaley on the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border. The location is idyllic and home to plenty of wildlife of which our beautiful herd of Huacaya Alpacas are the stars of the show.
In 2019 we decided to look into adding live stock to the 8 acres of land nestled around our property. Following lots and lots of research it was Alpacas that caught our eye the most and the decision was made.
We travelled up and down the country visiting reputable breeders from Cumbria all the way down to Devon. Although we were on strict orders to find cuddly Alpacas by the little daughter bosses at home, we placed great emphasis on confirmation and fleece quality for our breeding herd.
In 2020 we finally took delivery of our first 4 female Alpacas with 4 Crias (baby alpacas) at foot. We now have a herd of 17 and its growing nicely. Our vision is to produce the finest Alpacas possible through focused breeding and supply like minded people with stunning animals.
We just know visitors will fall in love with these amazing animals. This was one of the reasons we decided to offer our Alpaca experiences around our breeding programme. We love to welcome visitors to our little piece of heaven to meet and feed the herd, take them out for a trek and capture some amazing photos to cherish.
